Kimberly Mann receives CoE Excellence in Staff Service Award

Kimberly Mann, CSE AI Lab Research Administrator, has been selected to receive a 2016 College of Engineering Excellence in Staff Service Award.

Kimberly joined the EECS department in 2012 as a Contracts and Grants Specialist assisting all the Computer Science and Engineering labs. In 2013, she moved into her current role as the research administrator for the AI/IS Lab, which now also includes the Center for Conversational Agents.

Mann is dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible to the 10 faculty, 50 students, 4 staff, and 20 visitors and post-docs in her roster. She manages all aspects of the research process for the lab, including proposals, grant management, personnel appointments, and always has chocolate handy for anyone needing a little pick-me-up. Kimberly has participated in several college and university committees contributing toward improvements to policy and procedures on a variety of issues pertaining to research administration.

Kimberly will be honored with a College of Engineering Excellence in Staff Service Award at a public ceremony in Chesebrough Auditorium Friday, May 6 at 3pm.
