Email: WebsiteResearch Interests: Modeling, estimation, optimization, and control of energy storage for electrified vehicles and renewable systems. My expertise mainly focuses on bridging transportation system and power system through energy storages: hybridizing different energy storages, characterizing degradation of battery packs considering cell-to-cell variations, active condition monitoring of large battery modules/packs, energy management of electric and hybrid electric vehicles, and reusing batteries in renewable energy systems.
