Duncan Callaway is a Research Investigator in the School of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Michigan, where he is affiliated with the Center for Sustainable Systems. His work involves the synthesis of multiple engineering disciplines to define and solve problems at the interface of energy systems, especially those influenced by spatial and temporal factors. Prior to joining the University in September 2006, Duncan spent four years working on sustainable energy technologies in design and R&D positions in industry. His Ph.D is from Cornell University’s Department of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics.
