Self-Care for Students

The CSE Undergraduate Advising Office invites all undergraduate students with an interest in computing, including prospective students with an interest in CS, to take a break from the stress of the semester! This virtual Self-Care event provides the opportunity to engage with staff and other students. This event will not be a presentation format, but instead will offer a few interactive breakout sessions surrounding activities for self-care. We will be offering these breakout sessions for you to choose from:

  • Guided Journaling
  • Expressing Gratitude
  • Mindfulness & Meditation
  • Mindful Making

We will begin the event with a short welcome before breaking out into individual rooms. If you plan on attending, we ask that you fill out this Google form in advance, so we may assign you to your desired breakout session and provide you with the link and password for the Zoom meeting. However, you are welcome to change your mind and switch rooms at any point if you decide you’d like to try out something new!

The event will be held twice in October, in order to better accommodate differences in time zones. Both events will be held in Eastern Standard Time (EST). You are welcome to attend either date, or both if you choose.
