Quantum Science Seminar

Research Group on Quantum Communication

SHARE:

An interdisciplinary group of faculty & students studies problems in quantum information theory with a focus on quantum communication. Specific goals for the group include: (1) developing protocols for quantum cryptography, (2) estimating numerical invariants associated to quantum channels (such as channel capacity), and (3) studying the use of quantum entanglement as a communication resource. All faculty and students are welcome to attend. At the meeting on April 18th, Carl Miller will present the paper "measurement-Device-Independent Entanglement Witnesses for All
Entangled Quantum States" by C. Branciard et al. (Physical Review Letters 110, 060405 (2013).)
