Learn about two unique e-HAIL funding opportunities during a short presentation.

Dataset Creation Awards
Apply for up to $5,000 per dyad for dataset creation, including data annotation credits (through Mechanical Turk, Prolific, or other service), hiring a student to do data annotations, or participant compensation for preliminary interviews. The resulting datasets are expected to provide the preliminary data required for a strong application, and may also be used in the starting phase of the grant, if awarded. If feasible for the selected projects, we would like to make the datasets created with these funds available to e-HAIL members as a shared resource.

Student Summer Support Program
Apply for up to $12,000 in support to hire one or more students, at any level, for four months over the summer (May-August 2025). Awards can solely be used to cover student salary/benefits. Students may be hired to assist with preliminary data collection and/or analysis to strengthen grant applications for which submission is planned no later than June 2026. e-HAIL can assist with matching dyads to qualified student(s) if needed; dyads may also propose their own student(s).

Zoom information will be sent to e-HAIL members.
